Government Contract Catalyst Dashboard

What this is: a list of small/mid-cap public companies that just won a federal government contract. The contract is the catalyst. The other columns tell you whether the market has already reacted — or whether the trade is still in front of you.

A clean setup looks like this:

1. Score > 60 — composite of all the signals below
2. %Cap > 2% — the contract is meaningful next to company size
3. 1d / 5d / 30d near zero or negative — stock hasn't moved yet, so the catalyst isn't priced in
4. VolX > 1x ideally > 2x — volume is starting to confirm interest
5. SI% elevated (5%+) — adds squeeze fuel if the catalyst hits

The asymmetry: a real catalyst already happened (contract won), but the price hasn't reflected it yet. The market just hasn't connected the dots.

Already-priced-in (skip these):

• 5d or 30d > +15% — stock already ripped on the news
• 52w% > 80% — extended near 52-week highs
• VolX > 5x with positive 5d — the rip already happened

You're chasing. The expected value left in the move shrinks fast once the broader market has priced in the catalyst.

Column reference:

Score	0–100. Combines all signals below. >60 = clean setup, 30–60 = mixed, <30 = stale or weak.
%Cap	Sum of awards as % of market cap. The bigger, the more the contract should move the stock. >5% is large, >2% is meaningful, <1% is noise.
1d / 5d / 30d	% price change. Negative or near zero = catalyst not priced in (good). Big positive = market already reacted (bad).
VolX	Today's volume ÷ 30-day avg. >2x = real interest building. <1x = market hasn't noticed yet (could be why it's not priced in).
52w%	Position in 52-week range. 0 = at the low, 100 = at the high. Mid-range is a base; >80 is extended.
SI%	Short interest as % of float. By itself bearish (shorts have a thesis). With a positive catalyst it amplifies the move via forced covering. >20% = high squeeze potential.
#Awd	Number of separate awards in the window. Multiple awards = recurring contractor with a real revenue relationship, not a one-off.
